Overview
Those that are at the heart of our program include the students in K-12 that attend the districts where our program is in place. Continue to benefit from engaging programs and educational resources centered around the mission of Farm to School.
Students are curious and engaging. They desire more choices on their lunch menu. They are typically apprehensive about trying new foods, but are willing to experiment if given the freedom to choose.
They value from hands-on opportunities both inside and outside of the classroom, such as cooking, sampling, and participating in gardening activities.
